Alejandro Bonilla is an undergraduate music education student at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is a composer, conductor, and saxophonist with a particular interest in wind conducting. At UMass Lowell he takes on many roles, serving as the Field Conductor for the Marching Band, Learning Assistant for the music history course sequence, and president of the collegiate NAfME chapter on campus.
His work is eclectic, exploring a wide range of influences and practices through research and the creative process, and he hopes to share these niches to the world in an inspiring way.

The UMass Lowell Marching Band recently completed its season performing a show called "These Are a Few of Our Favorite Things." An homage to the band's history, this show combines some of the band's favorite hits to celebrate the retirement of longtime director, Dan Lutz.
